Recent developments include the introduction of compulsory programming education in elementary schools in AY 2020, the introduction of programming in the standard test for university admission in 2024, ICT education, IoT, and digital transformation. As digitalization accelerates, the need for IT human resources continues to grow. The Programming Research Institute responds to the needs of the times by promoting programming proficiency tests and programming education for elementary, junior high, and high school students.

In order to develop IT human resources, we have established a technology development base in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, where Sprix was founded. The surrounding school environment is conducive to producing excellent human resources, and we aim to contribute to local development and the region by accepting internships from Nagaoka University of Technology and Nagaoka National College of Technology.
